| The Serbian American Student Organization (SASO) is a Registered Organization of the University of Illinois, in Urbana-Champaign. It is a student group made up of undergraduate and graduate students of Serbian Descent at the University. The purpose of the group is to preserve and promote the Serbian culture and identity as well as awareness of issues important to the Serbian and Serbian-American communities. SASO works in conjunction with other student groups at the University of Illinois, as well as with similar groups at other universities. |
